Both the Elliott Museum and the House of Refuge Museum at Gilbert’s Bar are available for private gatherings, from casual receptions to formal dinners, corporate events, weddings and a wide range of social occasions. Kitchen facilities are available on site at The Elliott.

At The Elliott Museum
You’ll find our expansive gallery’s changing palette of artwork will serve as an attractive and captivating backdrop for your event - or you may choose to gather in our Automotive Gallery, which features over 30 vintage vehicles. For children’s parties, “Studio at the Elliott” offers a chance for everyone to get into creative and artistic fun! With a total capacity of 520 people, The Elliott can accommodate seated dinner parties up to 150, standing receptions up to 250, and seated lectures up to 200.
At The House of Refuge Museum at Gilbert’s Bar
An idyllic locale for everything from intimate gatherings to seaside weddings. Our newly renovated brick patio offers spectacular Atlantic Ocean views. This outdoor space can accommodate up to approximately 200 people for a seated dinner and as many as 400 people for a standing event. The area can also be tented, if desired.
