Seminole Indian Exhibit
Newly expanded & refurbished. this exhibit features Seminole clothing, one of a kind, newly re-discovered priceless beaded belts and artifacts, items from the Willoughby Collection circa 1906 and genuine Seminole artifacts not displayed previously. The exhibit will be on display through July when it will be shipped to the Museum of Florida History in Tallahassee to become part of their temporary exhibition titled Seminole People of Florida: Survival and Success. Artistic Glass Designs
Featuring the work of local artists Rob and Carole Rifflard, owners of No Monku Studio in Port Salerno. Exquisite and unique glass art includes large and small stained glass creations, fused crushed glass works, and etched designs. Rob has created an etched glass award for the Cannes Film Festival, and displays for Gucci and Lord & Taylor. He also competed in the challenge for creating the 9/11 Memorial for New York City’s Ground Zero. Rob and Carole donated a sculpture in memorial for the victims of September 11th to the Jensen Beach Fire Station. The piece is on loan to the Elliott and is the centerpiece of the exhibit.
