STUDIO AT THE ELLIOTT
The Studio at the Elliott offers professional instruction in the visual arts for all ages and skill levels. Classes include painting, drawing, sculpting, ceramics and a variety of arts and crafts.
Located on site at the Elliott Museum on Hutchinson Island, the Studio is a pleasant and inspirational place to learn, with easy access to scenic landscapes that feature seaside vistas, the Savannahs, the Indian and St. Lucie Rivers, and an abundant variety of Florida architecture. Our purpose-built Studio is completely equipped with easels, a reference library and abundant natural and artificial light. Studio instructors are highly acclaimed local artists who share their expertise through specialized classes for adults and children, from beginners to advanced. Class and workshop sizes are small, with plenty of one-on-one instruction.

Studio at the ElliottSomething for Everyone!
The Elliott Museum hosts art classes for children and adults weekly at the Studio at the Elliott. Robin Hicks-Connors, President and CEO of the Elliott explained, “We offer classes for everyone including children and adults, with all levels of ability and experience, from beginner to advanced”.
The Studio at the Elliott offers a variety of classes throughout the year, featuring highly acclaimed local artists such as Kelly Arnold, Laura Daniels, Meg Winter, and Denise Justice.
About the Artists
Kelly Arnold offers classes in all mediums for adult day classes and evening classes for all ages. Kelly studied drawing, color and painting at the University of Maine at Orono. She moved to Florida in 1986 where she worked in the printing industry for 10 years. In 1995, Kelly decided to pursue a career as a full-time artist and teacher. Her classes include a variety of art-related subjects and mediums and students range in age from 5-96.

Laura Daniels is a professional artist with a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts with a major in Art History and a focus in studio arts. She attended Stonehill College and studied abroad in Paris, France at The Speos Institute of Art and Photography. Daniel has taught children aging from preschool to high school, designing unique curriculums which blend art and cultural history with related studio art projects.

Meg Winter studied art in New Orleans at Loyola University. While in college, she spent a year in Rome, Italy, continuing her studies in art. She has been painting and traveling the world ever since. Meg works in both oils and watercolors, capturing the beauty of nature and the landscapes of our everyday lives. She has studied printmaking, pottery, and sculpture. Meg enjoys working with children and she offers classes using all mediums for youngsters (5-11 years) on Wednesday afternoons.

Denise Justice is a full time artist with an extensive portfolio; 10 years quality control Roto Gravure Color Separation, 12 years living and working in Europe and more than 25 years maintaining a working studio and teaching art. Denise offers classes in acrylics the first and third Sundays of every month at the Studio at the Elliott.
